Apple has some exciting plans for its upcoming iPhone 18, which is set to launch in 2026. According to The Information, they are planning to stagger the release dates by about six months. 

The Pro versions of the iPhone 18 will hit the market in the fall of 2026, while the more budget-friendly iPhone 18 and a new version of the iPhone 16e will follow in spring 2027. Additionally, there’s buzz about a new foldable iPhone also coming out in the fall of 2026.

In the meantime, there are whispers about a sleeker smartphone called the “iPhone 17 Air” that Apple may unveil this year. This model is expected to have a successor in 2026 as well.

To further diversify its manufacturing, Apple is looking into producing the cheaper iPhone 18 models in India. This move could help them lessen their dependence on China, especially considering how tariffs from the Trump era are affecting their profit margins.
