No surprise that Apple has been on the front lines of creating new products every year. Every year they release new iterations of their flagship products with new and improved features. 

This year they released many new products, including the iPhone 14 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 8, iPad Pro, Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Gen, Apple AirPods 3rd Gen, etc. With so many great smart devices, it can become difficult to choose only one.

That’s why today, I’m going to tell you about 3 must-have Apple products in 2023. So, enough dilly-dallying. Let’s jump right in.

3 Must-Have Apple Products in 2023

You might be asking yourself, “Must-have? I don’t believe that Apple products are a must-have.” To this, I’ll say, you’re actually wrong.

Tech, in general, has become an integral part of our lives, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic. Our reliance on electronic devices has increased by 2 folds. When the pandemic started, I was still taking classes, and without the help of these smartphones or laptops, they wouldn’t have been possible. 

Now granted that buying an Apple device in Pakistan practically equates to giving an arm and a leg for one thing. However, the level of device interconnection and the durability that they offer has never been seen in any other devices.

Over the course of the past 5 years, I’ve seen countless smartphone manufacturers that claim to build the best and most durable devices (and to some extent, they are), but non can match the level of an Apple-made product.

I just recently shifted from an Android eco-system to the iPhone eco-system, and believe me when I say there is a great divide between these two. Granted, my Tecno phone is a great device that latest me for over 2 years, but you got to be joking with me if you say that it compares anywhere near an iPhone 12 Pro Max.

That’s why here are my picks for must-have Apple products. 

1. Apple AirPods 3rd Generation

My number 1 pick for a must-have Apple product is the latest iteration of Apple AirPods 3rd Generation. To say that these AirPods are different from the other would be an understatement. I mean, just look at the design of them. They’ve completely removed the soft tips on the previous iteration of the AirPods, and they’ve made it into a complete piece. 

You might think that they would be uncomfortable when putting them in your ear; however, you would be wrong. They do not come out easily. Not only do these AirPods come with a high dynamic range amplifier, but they also have the option for personalised spatial audio. Meaning you can expect to get a complete immersion when listening to your songs.

Plus, it comes with a dynamic head-tracking feature with spatial audio that gives you the feeling of watching a movie in a cinema. With this iteration of AirPods, you’ll notice that the microphone has an inward design. This will help get the best audio when recording something or when on calls. One thing that reminds the same is how you control the audio playing with the same tap system.

If you want to access Siri through AirPods, you’ll need to hold it until you hear the sound. Lastly, I found the case lasted me about 30 hours without needing to charge it (this may vary depending on the spatial audio setting). Overall, for me, it’s one of the must-have Apple products.

2. Apple Watch Series 8

If you’ve been a long-time Apple fan, then you know that the Apple Watch Series 8 is one of the latest iterations of their smartwatch lineup. I bought it right after its release, and so far, it hasn’t given me any issues regarding anything.

The frame of the series 8 is made using a stainless steel frame, meaning it offers great durability if you’re a careless person like me😅. Additionally, the front of the watch is made using glass; however, the back of the watch is made using ceramic/sapphire crystal, providing much-needed back support. Speaking of the display, it has a 1.6-inch wide display which is much larger than the previous versions.

Just like the previous version, it has a water resistance rating of IP6X, meaning you can take a dip in the water without worrying that you’ll damage the smartwatch. The watch also features the latest S8 chipset, a significant improvement over its predecessor. So any kind of minute glitches that you’ve experienced in the previous models will not be seen in this watch.

If you’re a fan of NFC, then you’re in luck because the Apple Watch Series 8 comes with NFC compatibility. All of the above-mentioned features are only a few of them. There are tons of different features that work depending on your situation. This is another one of my favourites and a must-have Apple product before 2023. If you want a more durable watch than this, then I’ll recommend the Apple Watch Ultra, which was released right with the series 8.

3. iPhone 14 Pro Max

Before the end of 2023, there will be another device that is one of the most desired and must-have Apple products. This device is the iPhone 14 Pro Max that Apple released this year. This device holds all the latest tech that defines the mobile phone industry. 

Not only it’s one of their most high-tech iPhones, but also one of the most durable phones as well. Ever since the whole iPhone 6 fiasco, Apple has made sure none of their future generations of iPhones suffers from the bending issue. There’s a YouTube channel by the name of Jerry Rig Everything that has tested the durability of several iPhones, including the 14 Pro Max. Check out that video to understand what I’m talking about.

However, being a durable device doesn’t mean that they have compromised on the design of the iPhone. They’ve sued the same design as per the previous model with squared edges. It’s one of the sharpest-looking smartphones on the Market. It’s soo sharp that I almost cut my hand with it (Just kidding😂).

It features an impressive 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, meaning when you stream your Netflix videos on this phone, the display quality will definitely not disappoint you. Moving towards the performance of this phone, it features an impressive A16 Bionic chipset which is a significant jump over its previous iteration. It also has the latest version of iOS, which is 16 and comes with the max storage option of 1 TB.

So, I will say that this is also one of the must-have Apple products.

You might have noticed that all of the products I mentioned are the must-have Apple products in 2023that were all released this year. This is because all the tech they hold is the latest, which has been improved upon the previous versions. 

I could have said that you could for the iPhone 12 Pro Max or the Apple Watch Series 7; however, I didn’t. Don’t misunderstand me; they all are great products and were the peak devices of their times, but there were minute bugs. They all were worked upon and removed over time.
